The weekend is here and today is rainy in South Puget Sound. Everytime it rains our birds seem to think it is in a constant state of "dusk" and they call out to their flock all day to return home to roost! But all in all, they are all very happy today and enjoying their new BirDay Candle treats!

It just seems that I finish feeding my companion parrots and they are sqwaaaking for more food! Have you ever noticed that in the spring you just can't seem to satisfy a bird's hunger? I guess it's all that pining away they do for a mate. They want to make love and make babies! So off I went for the second time this morning to once again, feed my birds. This time I gave them a treat though. I decided for all that energy they are expending, they need more carbs! So every last one of them received a few chunks of BirD-elicious! Lovebird food. Guess what? It did it! They ate it right down and have been preening and making little cute noises and napping ever since.......five hours ago! .........Now, it's time for me!
